So, we left Kansas City in the midst of a tornado watch, wind and rain-blasted for the whole ride through Kansas. I thought I could stay awake and keep Josh company (I always feel like getting across Kansas is the hardest part) but I ended up nodding off about every ten minutes for six hours.
