Espresso dell’Anatra is OPEN! Hooray!
We’ve actually been open for a week, but I’ve been so busy finishing the POS and making coffee and sweeping the interminable concrete floors that I haven’t yet posted.
Business is slow. Barista Brianna is lonely. Come to 4335 Chouteau Trafficway and bring your friends. We’ll have a coffee party.
Also open is a new used bookstore in Long Beach, my old neighborhood. It is called Open, and it is located at 144 Linden Ave. They’re the coolest place to go for quality books in LA, and it’s run by my friend Se and her business partner Shea. The rhyming nomenclature of the owners is only a very small facet of the store’s sparkling charm.
