I don’t often publicly recap the year past, but 2005, for me, was breathtaking. So much change and movement and upheaval – it was everything I could have possibly dreamed. My wishes for 2006 are simple – more positive work, more growth. I hope it brings miraculous news about my mother’s health. I hope the people that I love know it, because I am strong enough to be unafraid to show them.
In some traditions, it is thought that whatever you are doing on the first day of the year is what you will be doing the entire year through. In which case, I hope most of you spend January 1st in a glorious fire of creativity and a glow of love and comfort.
