On today’s menu: black oil sunflower seeds & the usual, peanuts. The sunflower seeds have drawn visits today from several towhees, juncos, acorn woodpeckers, brewer’s blackbirds, steller’s and scrub jays, several band-tailed pigeons, and one northern flicker.
It should be noted for the purposes of this record that it has snowed for several hours this morning even though the sun is shining fully and brightly. The birds do not seem to notice.
