So, right after I am talking to J. about the poisonous nature of potassium ferrocyanide, I look over to see my cat LICKING last night’s test photograph that I had brought out to show him. Which is still TOTALLY COVERED IN CHEMICALS.
Jesus, I am so glad I don’t have kids. I threw the test photo away, re-wiped all my work surfaces for safety’s sake, and gave the cat a fresh bowl of water and watched him eat something. He should be fine, but I feel like a negligent parent. I can’t believe I didn’t think of that – he always licks photographs. All of my cats always have.
He’s trying to break into the food cupboard right now, so I can tell he’s fine. He’s fine, really.
