I had many dreams last night.

After I left this house in my dream, I was walking down a residential street in Long Beach, some time in the early morning. The sky was deeply cloudy and the sun was breaking through over the ocean behind me. I turned forward again and continued walking. I realized I was dreaming, and that my dreams had been somber as of late. Up ahead of me, a structure built from fallen Corinthian columns was lying at the edge of a park. I began climbing it, to find children playing on it with me. I could hear a flute playing “Greensleeves”. I climbed down and began dancing ballet in the street, stretching my body in a way I haven’t for years. I forgot I was fat, forgot I haven’t danced in ages, and just thought about the children and the music as the sun rose.
